LOCK YOUR WATER TAP AND REDUCE THE RISK OF YOUR TAP FREEZING

Do you have an outside tap at home or work? Do yo need an outside tap cover to prevent people using your tap, protect it from vandalism or impact damage? Do you need to prevent your tap from freezing up in the colder months?

Where normal tap locks, tap covers or outside tap boxes have limited functionality, this Robox unit has been specifically designed to provide reliable performance.

OUTSIDE TAP APPLICATIONS

Both homeowners and professional users can install a tap box. They are easy to fit and are suitable for a domestic or commercial applications. Perfect for Plumbers, Property maintenance teams, DIY enthusiasts, Landlords, Heating engineers, HVAC professionals, Building contractors, Architects, Letting agents and Property developers.

The insulated box units can be used in a variety of locations both inside and out, such as open spaces, public accessed gardens, cemeteries, church yards, allotments and schools. Industrial uses include plant rooms, building services and external water points.

OUTSIDE TAP COVER

Made from 1.5mm zinc coated sheet steel and then finished in Ivory smooth powder coating the unit is robust, weather and corrosion resistant. 

The box fits over existing taps that are fed from the rear or below.

Normally a simple lock or latch is used to secure the box, but the Robox units have a modern lockable handle that provides a secure and simple method of opening and closing the box door.

We have deliberately removed any water gathering points and placed  rivets under the unit so moisture and dirt can't collect. Plus the roof is formed in an angled curve to allow the water to easily shed off.

The unit is lined with 10mm water resistant XPS foam insulation to help reduce the impact of frost on the tap and prevent heat escape from your home's thermal envelope. A 30mm diameter hole, with grommet,is also present to allow access for a hose.

Please Note: Even though the insulation does provide a level of protection from frost, we can not guarantee full protection if the tap is subjected to prolonged, extreme low temperatures.
